Daniel Turnberg Travel Fellowship round 9 opens

Welcoming applications biomedical researchers from the Middle East and the UK

We are pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for the Daniel Turnberg Travel Fellowship. Daniel Turnberg Travel Fellowships give early-career biomedical researchers the chance to undertake short-term visits to further their research experience and learn new techniques. This scheme aims to build research links and developing ongoing scientific collaborations between the UK and the Middle East. The relationships formed in these short term visits often continue beyond the lifespan of the award.

Since the scheme's inception in 2009 the Academy has funded 190 fellowships, totalling more than £650,000.

The Fellowship will cover airfare and a subsistence allowance for a period of up to four weeks. Funding is provided to an upper limit of £3,500 per fellowship. We are also offering a small number of 3 months fellowships of up to £9,000.
