The Academy has a number of schemes to promote international collaboration between the UK and eligible countries. All schemes for researchers who would like to visit the UK and for UK-based researchers who would like to go abroad are listed below.
Grant schemes
- Academy of Medical Sciences Professorships - support researchers based overseas who are moving to the UK to take up a Professorship position
- Daniel Turnberg Travel Fellowships - travel fellowships for early career biomedical and clinical researchers to foster collaborations between the Middle East and the UK
- Networking Grants - allow overseas and UK researchers to hold networking events and carry out small pilot studies to generate innovative, transdisciplinary research ideas

- Career development events - held online and around the UK to help biomedical and health researchers develop a productive career.
