Chaired by leading science journalist Anjana Ahuja, our co-hosted hustings on 19 June 2024 was streamed live in front of a public audience from the Royal Society, London, and saw the following main political party representatives invited to outline the policies their party will put forward to support science, innovation and technology at the 4 July 2024 UK General Election:

  • Viscount Camrose, Minister for AI and Intellectual Property, Conservatives
  • Ms Chi Onwurah, Shadow Minister for Science, Research and Innovation, The Labour Party
  • Lord Clement-Jones, Lords Spokesperson for Science, Innovation and Technology, Liberal Democrats
