I work on the Academy’s  Science Base policy, championing a well-funded, well-regulated, sustainable, competitive, inclusive and thriving UK research environment.

Previously, I worked at the British Heart Foundation (BHF) on research policy and at the Wellcome Trust on Covid-19 and mental health policy. I also have a strong interest in issues relating to equality, diversity and inclusion and was previously Chair of the BHF Anti-Racism Affinity Group.

I completed a Neuroscience BSc and Clinical Neuroscience MSc at King’s College London and University College London, respectively. My research projects explored the relationship between the immune and nervous systems and understanding memory impairments for people with schizophrenia.
