Policy workshops in partnership with high-income countries

We host policy workshops in partnership with other high-income countries on shared priority health and medical research topics (such as climate change and health and antimicrobial resistance) to: 

• exchange learning 
• propose solutions and actions we can take to address identified challenges. 

Policy workshops held in 2024 

• Prioritising health in the early years (multilateral workshop), February 2024. 

• Addressing antimicrobial resistance with a One Health approach, in partnership with the Indian Council of Medical Research, May 2024.
  • This workshop builds on our AMR scientific meeting in 2024, supported by the Hamied Foundation.  

Policy workshops in development for 2024-25 

• Climate change and health, in partnership with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, October 2025. 

• Genomics and health, in partnership with the Royal Irish Academy, November 2025.
