Policy workshops in partnership with high-income countries

We host policy workshops in partnership with other high-income countries on shared priority health and medical research topics to: 

• exchange learning 
• propose solutions and actions we can take to address identified challenges. 

Policy workshops

• Prioritising health in the early years (multilateral workshop), February 2024. 

• Addressing antimicrobial resistance with a One Health approach, in partnership with the Indian Council of Medical Research, May 2024.
  • This workshop builds on our AMR scientific meeting in 2019, supported by the Hamied Foundation.  

• Improving the resilience of health and public health systems to the impact of climate change, in partnership with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, October 2024. 

• Genomics and artifical intelligence, in partnership with the Royal Irish Academy, November 2024. 

• Mainstreaming genomics for precision population health, in partnership with the College of Clinician Scientists, Academy of Medicine, Singapore, February 2025.
• Child health, wellbeing and inequities: influencing policy in changing social and political environments, March 2025.
