President provides evidence to Lords Committee regarding Government science strategy

Professor Sir John Tooke PMedSci gave evidence to the House of Lords Science and Technology Committee on 8 July 2014 toward their inquiry ‘2025: Priorities for scientific research’.

The inquiry relates to the Government’s developing ‘Science and Innovation Strategy 2014’.

The evidence session on 8 July was the last of three in a series organised by the Committee.

Other contributors include the Campaign for Science and Engineering, TSB, the Royal Society, the British Academy, the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Wellcome Trust, Professor Mariana Mazzucato and Professor Graeme Reid.
