President pays tribute to Her Majesty The Queen

Paying tribute to Her Majesty The Queen, the President of the Academy of Medical Sciences, Professor Dame Anne Johnson PMedSci, said:

“The Academy of Medical Sciences is deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty The Queen, who has seen 70 years of extraordinary service to the nation and the Commonwealth. Her steadfast duty has been widely respected and a constant through our lives. The Academy is grateful for the Royal Charter we were granted by The Queen, and the recognition she paid to our work and the work of our Fellows.

“We offer our sincere condolences to all the Royal family on behalf of the Fellowship and the entire Academy. We join with the nation and those across the world to pause, reflect and pay respect to Her Majesty The Queen.”
