On Wednesday 11 October, the Royal Society and the Academy of Medical Sciences will convene a joint workshop on  'Ensuring synthesised evidence is available for policy-making'.  Professor Christl Donnelly FRS FMedSci will chair the workshop, which will convene policy makers and experts in evidence synthesis to consider required changes to the research landscape that will ensure the provision of high quality synthesised evidence to policymakers.

This event follows a workshop on 'Evidence synthesis: supply and demand' in July 2017 as part of a joint project on evidence synthesis being undertaken by the Academy of Medical Sciences and the Royal Society.  A project report will be published in due course.
