Since March 2020, alongside our own projects, we have responded to a number of parliamentary inquiries relating to COVID-19. Our responses have drawn on the expertise of our Fellowship and grant awardees, and key findings from previous Academy publications.

- House of Commons Science and Technology Committee consultation on ‘The role of technology, research and innovation in the COVID-19 recovery’ (September 2020).
- Professor Mathew Hotopf CBE FMedSci represented the Academy and gave oral evidence to the House of Lords Science and Technology Committee inquiry on ‘The Science of COVID-19’ (September 2020).
- Professor Dame Anne Johnson DBE FMedSci represented the Academy and gave oral evidence to the House of Commons Health and Social Care Committee and Science and Technology Committee inquiry on 'Coronavirus: Lessons Learnt' (November 2020).
