Damaging gulf growing between teaching and research in UK universities

A report by the Academy of Medical Sciences highlights an urgent need to redress the balance between teaching and research in our Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to maintain the UK's position as a leader in biomedical and clinical sciences.
