Call for nominations: Next Academy Vice President (Clinical)

Professor Paul Stewart FMedSci will be completing his term of service as the Academy's Vice President (Clinical) at this year's AGM in December, having served a six year term of office. Nominations are now sought to identify a successor to this key Academy role.

The nomination stage to identify the next Vice President (Clinical) is now open. A letter from the Academy President, Professor Dame Anne Johnson, is provided on this page. A  role description and nomination form are also available to download.

The Academy is committed to equity, diversity and inclusion and encourages a wide range of nominations for all its key governance roles. Expressions of interest are welcomed from across the Fellowship and should be sent, in confidence, to Professor Dame Anne Johnson at president@acmedsci.ac.uk. Fellows wishing to informally discuss the role are invited to contact Dame Anne at the earliest opportunity.

The deadline for receipt of completed nomination forms is 5pm on 23 June 2023.

The Academy Council will elect the next Vice President (Clinical) in July to enable handover of the role to the successful candidate over the autumn. The next Vice President (Clinical) will formally take office at the AGM on 5 December 2023.
