The Academy has joined organisations from across Europe to support an ambitious future partnership in research between the UK and Europe.
The statement, drafted as part of the Future Partnership Project, has been signed by 52 scientific organisations, demonstrating the shared commitment to protecting and maintaining the relationship between UK and EU research and innovation communities.
This statement follows a consultation and evidence synthesis led by the Royal Society and Wellcome. The Academy submitted evidence to both phases of this project and our President, Professor Sir Robert Lechler PMedSci, attended a residential meeting of European research leaders at the Royal Society at Chicheley Hall in January 2018.
