Writing successful Fellowship nominations

10.30, Friday 24 June 2022

Are you thinking of nominating a candidate for election to the Fellowship? Are you keen to know more before starting the process?

We are pleased to announce our first Fellowship nomination masterclass to help shine a spotlight on the election process and identify ways Fellows can support nominations from a broader diversity of expertise and backgrounds.

This free session will include tips on how to write a successful nomination, including a discussion with Professor Sir Stephen Holgate CBE FMedSci, and what the Sectional Committees will be looking for when assessing them.

The event will be hosted by Academy Registrar Professor Dame Jessica Corner FMedSci and our Regional ChampionsAttendees will hear from Fellows who have successfully nominated as well as members of the Sectional Committees to share their experiences and tips.

The masterclass is open to all Fellows of the Academy. Numbers are limited so please make sure you register.

The workshop will run from 10:30 – 12:30 BST. There will be comfort breaks during the session, and we will adhere to our Safe Space Policy.

If you are unable to attend the session but would like to learn more, please do contact Rubana Hussein, Regional Engagement Manager. We also welcome feedback if you have suggestions for how we could improve communications or events about the Fellowship election process in future.

Full details about the Fellowship election are available online. Please do contact Russell Crandon, Fellowship Manager if you would like more information on the elections.

We look forward to seeing you at the event.
