South-East Region Annual Scientific Lecture 2019
Combatting AMR and infection using just sound, water and air

Fellows are invited to attend the annual AMS South East Region Scientific Lecture which will be given by Professor Timothy Leighton, Professor of Ultrasonics and Underwater Acoustics at Southampton University. The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception and dinner for local Academy Fellows and their guests.
The event will take place at Southampton University (Highfield Campus) on Monday 14 October 2019. To promote wider regional engagement and awareness of the Academy's work, Fellows attending this event are invited to bring along an early career colleague or post-doctoral researcher from their home institution as their guest for the evening.
Attendance at this event costs £30 per head - which will include a three course meal and drinks. The Academy has ten funded places available for early career colleagues and these will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
