On 3 March 2015, the Academy held a joint workshop with the Wellcome Trust to explore how geographical clusters can work together effectively to drive medical research and innovation, and to discuss barriers to, and opportunities for, future development.
Following the success of this meeting, a follow-up meeting is being scoped for 2016.
