This FORUM workshop, in partnership with the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, will bring together stakeholders from across academia, industry, the NHS and others to discuss the challenges facing the clinical development of gene therapies, and the steps needed to create a world-leading UK environment for the development of gene therapies. This will include an exploration of areas such as funding and investment, as well as manufacturing and scale up. It will also look at the next generation of gene therapies (for example non-viral vectors), and the questions that must be addressed to progress this field in the future.
