Fellows are warmly invited to attend the Academy's Annual Fellows' Meeting which will include our first AGM under Royal Charter status; Jean Shanks Lecture; award of the 2019 Foulkes Foundation Medal; admission of Honorary Fellows and the Annual Fellows' Dinner.

This year's Annual Meeting and Lecture will be held at the Royal College of Physicians.  A full programme for the day is available here or to download from this page. The afternoon programme will include the 2019 Jean Shanks Lecture, which will be given jointly by Professor Gillian Bates FRS FMedSci and Professor Sarah Tabrizi FMedSci on `New therapies for Huntington's disease, is the endgame in sight?'.

Following the lecture we invite you to join us for drinks and the Annual Fellows' Dinner. The Honorary Fellows elected last year will be admitted to the Academy during a ceremony before dinner. Tickets (including drinks and 3-course meal) are priced at £45 each. Fellows may also book one place for a guest. The Academy will be offering a limited number of funded dinner places to encourage Fellows to invite along a more junior colleague from their home institution to this event. Booking for all parts of the day is available on this page - or by contacting Alison Rojo on 0203 141 3205 or by email to alison.rojo@acmedsci.ac.uk.

Fellows wishing to bring a funded early career colleague to the Annual Dinner should contact Alison directly as places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Please note that this event is open only to Fellows and their guests.
