09.00, Tuesday 13 June 2017

Maynard Theatre, 11 Cavendish Square London, W1G 0AN

Held in partnership with the Centre for the Advancement of Sustainable Medical Innovation (CASMI) and supported by the Medical Research Council and the National Institute for Health Research, this FORUM workshop focused on building a research agenda to accelerate access to medical innovation and overcome some of the current challenges. The workshop brought together stakeholders from across the life sciences ecosystem including funders, academia, clinicians, policy-makers, industry and commissioners to explore how the research community can help to support and accelerate access to innovation. There was a focus on innovation at both the individual and system level, and the value proposition around different innovations, including within the context of social practice. The workshop was followed by a networking drinks reception.
