2023 Fellowship nominations masterclass

10.00, Thursday 01 June 2023

Are you thinking of nominating a candidate for election to the Fellowship? Do you want to know more before starting the process?

Join our virtual 2023 Fellowship nomination masterclass to learn about the election process and how you can support nominations from a broader diversity of expertise and backgrounds.

This free session (which is for Fellows only) will include tips on how to write a successful nomination, including a discussion with Professor Rosalind Smyth FMedSci, who has been successful at nominating Fellows over the years, and what the Sectional Committees will be looking for when assessing applications. We will also discuss recommendations on how to engage potential nominees from marginalised backgrounds.

The event will be hosted online by our newly appointed Academy Registrar, Professor David Adams FMedSci, and our Regional Champions

The masterclass is open to all Fellows of the Academy, including those most recently elected. Numbers are limited so please make sure you register as soon as possible by filling in this form.

Please note that there will be breaks during the workshop, and we will adhere to our Safe Space Policy.

If you are unable to attend the session but would like to learn more, please do contact Rubana Hussein, Regional Engagement Manager. Please also contact Rubana if you have suggestions for how we could improve communications or events about the Fellowship election process in future.

Full details about the Fellowship election are available online. Please do contact Russell Crandon, Fellowship Manager if you would like more information.

We look forward to seeing you at the event.
