The challenges we have faced during the height of the pandemic have provided us with a better understanding of the research environment and equipped us with new skills and opportunities to actively address them. Doing this will allow us to make the new normal we are emerging into truly better.
One of the important challenges that has been highlighted, and in some ways exacerbated, throughout the pandemic is our research culture and the actions that we need to take to improve it for the sake of better careers, work-life balance, equality and more.
