How to apply
To apply to the Starter Grants for Clinical Lecturers, Springboard, GCRF Networking, Newton Fellowship and Daniel Turnberg Travel Fellowship schemes, please use Flexi-Grant, the Academy's online application system. You can download a user guide for Flexi-Grant from the right hand side of this page. In addition, you may download a template application form for the scheme you wish to apply for from the scheme’s webpage when a round is open for applications.
Application tips
Our schemes are aimed at early to mid career researchers and many of the applications we receive are from researchers writing their first grant. Remember to allow plenty of time to complete your application and gather the necessary approvals. If your proposed research involves animal experiments, we encourage you to consult the NC3Rs Experimental Design Assistant to help you design your study.
