I started working at the Academy in January 2025 and my role involves meaningfully involving patients, carers and the public across Academy activities and in the way we work.

Prior to this, my career was spent in the NHS working in mental health services and on university led research trials focused on severe mental health, self-management and Parkinson's.

I am passionate about involving people typically underrepresented and excluded from healthcare research and services, and working with communities who face inequalities and disparities in healthcare access, care and treatment.

Outside of work, I enjoy theatre, TV, dancing, strolling around my local area and catching up with friends.
