This year’s Annual Fellows' Meeting and Jean Shanks Lecture will be held in person at the Academy’s offices at 41 Portland Place, London.
The afternoon will start with the Academy’s AGM at 14.30 and will include an introduction to our new Chief Executive, Rosalind Campion. The programme will also include:
- Highlights of the Academy’s work this year
- The presentation of the Foulkes Foundation Academy of Medical Sciences Medal
- A talk from this year’s Medallist, , Dr Roser Vento-Tormo, Group Leader at the Wellcome Sanger Institute
This year’s Jean Shanks Lecture will start at 17.00.
The event will conclude with a reception where we will celebrate Professor Dame Anne Johnson’s contribution to the Academy and unveil the portrait which marks her Presidency.

This event is by invitation only. Fellows will receive registration details by email with the formal agenda for this year’s AGM.
