Applications are now being accepted to our Starter Grants for Clinical Lecturers scheme.
The scheme provides modest ‘starter’ funds to enable research-active Clinical Lecturers to pursue their research work, gather preliminary data and so further strengthen their applications for longer-term fellowships and funding.
Awards consist of grants up to £30,000, which can be spread over two years to contribute towards new and directly incurred research costs such as consumables and equipment.
The Starter Grants scheme has been in place since 2008, and so far has supported 194 Clinical Lecturers across nine rounds of funding, with grants totalling c£5.5M.
