The Academy of Medical Sciences is delighted to announce the election of 44 new Fellows in 2014.
This year's Fellows cover a broad range of backgrounds and expertise, including bioinformatics, haematology, psychiatry and health services research.
Fifteen (34%) of this year's new Fellows are women.
The new Fellows will be formally admitted to the Academy at a ceremony on 2 July 2014.
