The Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2015 are now available to download.
2014/15 was a year of growth with total income increasing by 33% to £5.8 million, due to successful fundraising and an increase in funding for our grant schemes.
Expenditure also increased to a total of £5.56 million with an expansion of the Academy’s charitable activities, particularly under the strategic objectives of seizing international opportunities and nurturing the next generation of medical researchers.
Although restrictions on core income continued, the General Fund maintained a small surplus in a year when we actively strengthened the operational platform in order to support the ambitious programme of activities planned for 2015/16 and beyond.
