An Academy of Medical Sciences working group, chaired by Professor Patrick Maxwell, Academy Registrar, has published a response to the review of Modernising Medical Careers (MMC). The paper expresses broad concerns over the implementation of MMC via the Medical Training Applications Service (MTAS) and makes recommendations for changes in the Clinical Academic career pathway throughout the training grades.
