The Admission Ceremony will take place at The Royal Institute of British Architects, 66 Portland Place, London and will be followed by The Raymond and Beverly Sackler Distinguished Lecture in the Medical Sciences. This year we are delighted that Professor Dario Alessi FRS FRSE FMedSci, Director of the MRC Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit, University of Dundee, will be giving a lecture, titled Disruptions on the highways of cell communications.
We will also be joined by Dr Bruce Alberts, who will be receiving his Honorary Fellowship of the Academy during the admission ceremony and the day will conclude with a Summer Soirée for all Fellows and their guests at the Academy's headquarters at 41 Portland Place.

A mentoring skills workshop will also take place earleir in the day which is open to all current and potential Academy mentees as well as Academy Fellows. Click here for futher information.
