Sarah Lamb is Professor of Trauma Rehabilitation at the University of Oxford. She is an internationally renowned researcher, with a career combining clinical trials methodology with a special interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Professor Lamb became the first female chair of the NIHR Health Technology Assessment Board, playing a highly active role in shaping its commissioning policy and strategy. Her research has focused on important areas of clinical practice including non-medical healthcare contact - the largest form of contact in most health systems in the world.
