Charlotte joined the Academy in December 2022 to work in the Engagement team. Alongside her engagement colleagues, she works to embed patient and public voices across the Academy. She is also interested in mental health in the workplace and takes an active role in leading the staff forum for Mental Health and Well-being.

Charlotte has worked in the field of Science Communication and Public Engagement since graduating from the University of Sheffield with an integrated master’s in biological sciences in 2014, with previous roles at the Science Museum and Centre of the Cell/Queen Mary University, London. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing and performing poetry, and adventures in and around London with her husband and two-year-old daughter.
