In 2011, the Academy worked with a number of organisations to update the ‘Guidelines for monitoring clinical academic training and progress’, which provide guidance for the annual review process for clinical academic trainees.

In 2011, the Academy worked with a number of organisations to update the ‘Guidelines for monitoring clinical academic training and progress’.

The guidelines set out a simple, flexible framework for monitoring academic training and achievement to aid trainees, supervisors and assessors in reviewing academic progress during specialty training.

We recommend the guidelines for Academic Clinical Fellowships, all Clinical Lecturers and trainees who are 'Out of Programme' in research or working for a higher a degree.
