Join us at our next Cross-Sector event, delivered in partnership with the Northern Health Science Alliance - a free, interactive event to shape the future development of prevention research in the North of England. This event will bring together leaders from health, research, industry and policy to explore how we can accelerate the shift to prevention.

This event builds on the success of the launch of the North of England Cross‑Sector Hub, and will focus on a central challenge for the UK: how we move towards a prevention-led health system while ensuring we reduce health inequalities across the North.

Through a mix of expert insights, interactive discussion and networking, the day will:

• Explore the current state of health and health equity across the North
• Share leading examples of prevention in action, from early years to mental health and nutrition
• Reflecting on the work of Greater Manchester, learning from the successes of other health systems
• Discuss the role of cross-sector collaboration in delivering impact at scale
• Examine how we incentivise and sustain public and private investment in prevention and early detection

The programme will include keynote contributions, a collaborative workshop session, and an interactive panel debate, with opportunities to engage directly with stakeholders from across sectors.
