Fellows are invited to nominate candidates for Honorary Fellowship. These should be individuals who do not otherwise fulfil the eligibility criteria for Academy Fellowship.
Read more about Academy Honorary Fellowship and the President’s letter on this page, which explains our new, more targeted approach to identifying Honorary Fellows to align with the Academy’s strategic objectives and who can actively help contribute to our work.
This year’s search will focus on:
- Prominent leaders in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical devices sectors, but who may not have the scientific achievements required for Ordinary Fellowship
- Philanthropists who have made outstanding contributions to medical science in the public interest
- Individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing and promoting equity, diversity and inclusion in biomedical and health research within an organisation and/or a more positive research culture in the UK
To submit nominations, Fellows are required to complete and sign the nomination form available on this page and return it to Professor Andrew Morris CBE FRSE PMedSci by emailing [email protected]
The deadline for receipt of completed nominations is 17.00 BST on Monday 30 June 2025.
