MHRA consultation on an early access to medicines scheme
The December 2011 'Life Sciences Strategy' announcements detailed that the Medicine and Healthcare product Regulatory Agency (MHRA) would undertake a consultation on an 'Early Access to Medicines Scheme'. The scheme aims to 'bring access to certain new medicines before they are formally licensed'.
The consultation was launched in July 2012, and the Academy responded in September 2012.
