INSPIRE open for applications

The latest round of INSPIRE is now open for applications from medical and veterinary schools across the UK.

INSPIRE offers grants of up to  £20,000, over two years to support projects that will inform and excite students about a career in research.

“I am delighted to announce the opening of the next round of INSPIRE. This important scheme highlights the opportunities and potential of a career in research, and I look forward to working with a new cohort of brilliant and inspiring students,” said Professor Jonathan Seckl FMedSci, chair of the selection panel.

Previous awards have supported summer schools, taster days, a student-led journal, conferences, mentoring schemes and more – you can read about some of these projects in our case studies.
