Academy Fellows recognised in New Year Honours 2026

The Academy of Medical Sciences congratulates its Fellows recognised in the King's New Year Honours list for 2026.

The awards have acknowledged remarkable contributions across medical science - from global health, cancer research, cardiovascular medicine to gene therapy and behavioural science. The honours celebrate the dedication of individuals who have made outstanding achievements in public life or committed themselves to serving and helping the UK.
