Fellows, early career researchers and guests are invited to attend an afternoon of discussion and networking hosted by the Academy's Regional Champion for East Anglia, Professor Mary Dixon-Woods FMedSci, Director of The Healthcare Improvement Studies (THIS) Institute and RAND Professor of Health Services Research.
The event will take place at Homerton College, Cambridge with registration from 13:30. The programme will include opportunities to hear a keynote talk from Professor Sir Stephen O'Rahilly FRS FMedSci, Director of the University of Cambridge Metabolic Research Laboratories, as well as an exciting visual abstract competition for early-career researchers.
With a view to promoting wider engagement and awareness of the Academy's work, Fellows attending this event are encouraged to promote this event among their early and mid-career colleagues, who are very welcome to attend.
Early career researchers attending are encouraged to participate in our visual abstract competition, where the best abstract will be awarded the Academy of Medical Sciences East Anglia Fellow’s Visual Abstract Award.
