Professor Sir John Tooke PMedSci has today begun a 5 year term as President of the Academy of Medical Sciences.
He takes over from Professor Sir John Bell FRS HonFREng FMedSci who retired on 24 November 2011, completing a 5 year term in which he led the Academy to significantly increased prominence and influence.
