Professor of Primary Health Care at Queen Mary’s, Trisha Greenhalgh is a leader in the field of primary care. Many of her peer-reviewed papers have been pivotal in changing practice and policy and she has a reputation for leading ambitious, rigorous and imaginative studies which challenge conventional ways of thinking. She is the only general practitioner to have twice won the Royal College of General Practitioners Research Paper of the Year Award. She has a particular interest and skill in knowledge translation and linking research innovation to practice and policy and her wide experience in leadership roles at national and international level has been recognised by an extensive list of awards and prizes including OBE in 2001.
