I’ve been working at the Academy since 2006 when I joined as the first staff member dedicated to communications and public engagement. I now lead the team responsible for our media and digital comms as well as our public and patient engagement programmes, diversity and inclusion work, and our regional engagement programme.

Outside of work you’ll find me run ragged by my three kids which is why I’m a champion for making the Academy a great place to work for everyone who’s juggling work, life and everything in between #MedSciLife!

I previously worked at the British Science Association for 7 years and a long time ago I got a First Class BA(Hons) in Science, Society and the Media from UWE Bristol which as you can see turned out to be rather useful!
