Three Fellows of the Academy have been recognised in the BBSRC Anniversary Awards, celebrating 20 years since its inception.
Professor Dame Linda Partridge CBE FRS FRSE FMedSci and Professor Jefferey Errington FRS FMedSci have both been awarded medals for Excellence in Bioscience.
Professor Russell Foster FRS FMedSci has received the medal for Excellence in Bioscience Communication.
Professor Jackie Hunter CBE FMedSci, BBSRC Chief Executive, said, "Our 20th anniversary year is the perfect time to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of researchers that BBSRC has supported. These awards highlight outstanding achievements that benefit us all and help to make the UK world-leading in bioscience."
