Professor Chris Day FMedSci has been appointed as Vice Chancellor of Newcastle University with effect from January 2017.Given the demands of this prestigious appointment, he will be stepping down from his role as Academy Vice-President (clinical) at New Fellows Admission Day on 28 June 2017.
A Search Committee has been convened to oversee the appointment of Professor Day's successor. This Search Committee will be chaired by the President, Sir Robert Lechler. Any Fellow who wishes to discuss the role further should contact the Chair of the Search Committee at the earliest opportunity.
