Fellows in the North West region are invited to attend a Fellows' meeting and dinner on Monday 25 April 2016.

The evening will provide an opportunity for Fellows to discuss matters of relevance to the Academy's work and will include discussion of the Academy's recently published report on Team Science with special insight offered by Working Group member, Professor Bob Burgoyne.

The evening will also include research presentations from Professor Caroline Dive (University of Manchester) and Professor Dame Margaret Whitehead (University of Liverpool) who will be speaking about experimental cancer translation and public health/health inequalities, respectively.

After the presentations there will be drinks and an opportunity for Fellows to mingle and catch-up with colleagues, before concluding with dinner.

Local Fellows are welcome to attend the meeting, drinks reception and dinner free of charge.  Fellows are also invited to bring along an early career researcher from their home institution as a guest. Please note that guests should only attend this event from 18:10 onwards.
