Waljit Dhillo, Professor of Endocrinology & Metabolism at Imperial College London, is an outstanding clinical scientist and a world leader in reproductive neuroendocrinology. He has directed impeccably designed clinical trials which have led to the widespread use of Kisspeptin as a safe ovulation trigger in IVF cycles. He has led research into the application of Kisspeptin in treatment of psychosexual dysfunction, with results that promise a significant advance in management of this distressing condition. His leadership extends nationally and internationally, including work with the Society for Endocrinology, MRC and the European Society for Endocrinology. He is also Chair of the Clinical Academic Training Forum, an impactful, cross-stakeholder group overseeing clinical academic training across the UK.
