Mark Emberton is Professor of Interventional Oncology at University College London. Surgically trained, he develops, administers and evaluates image-guided therapies to patients, blurring the boundaries between radiology, interventional oncology and surgery. His work to position interventional science as the translational arm of bio-engineering has led to a dramatic shortening of the time it takes to transition from prototype to clinical benefit.
