Jennifer Dixon, Chief Executive of the Health Foundation, is an international leader in health policy. She is well known for advising government and national policymakers, and for her singular contributions to developing policy based on data analytics. Her pioneering work on predictive risk led to the introduction of algorithms to better identify patients at risk of future unplanned hospitalisation. Her analysis of key national policies such as rationing, GP fundholding, patient choice, regulatory approaches and chronic care management all led to national initiatives. Under her leadership the Health Foundation has revolutionised its contributions with respect to policy, research economics, and science to promote healthy lives for all.
