Sarah has seen the Academy grow ten-fold since she joined as the Academy’s first fundraiser.  She managed the fundraising for the £5M refurbishment of 41 Portland Place, enabling the Academy to move into its own headquarters. She set up the Helix Group for individual donors who give to the Academy on a regular basis. More recently she led on expanding the team to include a focus on major donor fundraising and the establishment of the Fundraising Advisory Group. Prior to working at the Academy Sarah was Head of Fundraising at The Sick Children’s Trust.
