Professor Nigel Benjamin is Professor of Clinical Pharmacology at St.Bartholomew’s & the Royal London Hospital Medical School. He has made outstanding contributions to the study of the biology of nitrac oxide. His ingenious methods for measuring total body nitric oxide production that have shown that total body nitric oxide synthesis is altered in hypertension and is increased in diabetes.
