Who are our Fellows?
Fellows are leaders across a wide range of medical disciplines and related professions, from laboratory science to primary care, biotech to data science, dentistry to veterinary science, ethics and the law. Their vast and varied expertise enables us to tackle complex health issues facing society and the world today.
Together, our Fellows' insight and influence help shape policy, advance research and improve health outcomes in the UK and globally. We are working to ensure our Fellowship reflects the breadth, talent and diversity of medical science today. As a result our Fellowship is growing in diversity every year across disciplines, sectors, and regions.

Honorary Fellows
Honorary Fellows of the Academy of Medical Sciences are individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to medical science, health or wider society. They come from a range of backgrounds, including science, industry, policy and public life, and bring experience, insight and influence to the Academy. They include our Royal Fellow, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal.
