Welcome to e-Lect the Academy's online Fellowship nomination system.

e-Lect is the online system that supports the Academy's Fellowship election, which includes provision for proposing new candidates and for viewing and updating the material of existing candidates.  e-Lect is open to Academy Fellows only.

To nominate a candidate for Fellowship please access the e-Lect system by clicking here.

If you are new to e-Lect then follow steps 1 and 2 under ‘activate your account’ to obtain your username and password and then login.

Once you have logged in, you will find guidance on how to nominate new candidates and/or view and update existing nominations.  You can also download the e-Lect user guide which offers tips and advice on how to nominate candidates on the right of this page.

Existing candidates
Some existing candidates' documents have been uploaded onto e-Lect as Word documents however, the system will now only accept these documents as PDFs. If you are a Principal Nominator, we ask that you replace your candidates' Word docs with PDFs when updating their candidacy for 2020.  As before, please do not send electronic or paper copies of the top 10 contributions directly to the Academy office – we will not be able to accept them.

The 2022 Fellowship election is now open for nominations with a deadline of September 24.

The Academy is grateful to the Royal Society for generously sharing the e-Lect system with us, and for helping to adapt it for our purposes.
